A driveway is the biggest piece of concrete most people ever buy, and it is the one that shows every shortcut. We grade and compact the base before a single form goes down, set rebar instead of laying wire mesh on the dirt, and pour 4000 PSI concrete. The finish is a broom texture with open joints, and the control joints get cut — not left to crack wherever the slab decides. Gravel ruts, mud and dust are a fixable problem, and this is how it gets fixed once.
The ground work is what decides whether a driveway lasts. It gets excavated, graded for drainage and compacted with gravel before anything is formed.
Steel reinforcement tied and supported through the slab. It is the difference between a driveway that holds a truck and one that spiderwebs the first hard winter.
The mix we pour on driveways, because East Tennessee freeze and thaw is hard on flatwork and the cheap mix is where people save money they lose later.

Concrete Slabs & Foundations
Slabs are where a crew either has the people and the equipment or does not. A big pour has to go down and get finished before it sets, which means enough hands on the screed, a pump truck when the mixer cannot reach, and finishers who stay until the trowel work is done — after dark if that is what the pour needs. We form and reinforce building pads, garage and shop slabs, metal building slabs and foundations, and we run the power trowel until the floor comes up smooth.
Shop floors, garage pads and metal building slabs formed square, reinforced and poured to the elevation the building needs.
Slabs poured inside framing on new builds, with the plumbing stub-ups protected and the pour coordinated around the rest of the trades.
In Eli's own words: a power trowel finish that leaves the floor like glass. That is the finish an interior slab or a shop floor should have.
Stamped & Decorative Concrete
Stamped concrete is what you pour when the walkway is the first thing anybody sees. It is the same base, the same reinforcement and the same mix as a plain pour — the difference is in the finish: pattern, color and a sealed surface. We have replaced tired gray walkways with stamped curves that follow the house instead of cutting straight across the yard, and it changes the whole front of a property for a fraction of what people expect.
Flagstone, hexagonal and ashlar patterns in the color you pick. Look through the gallery and point at what you want.
A walkway does not have to be a straight gray strip. We lay out the curve on the ground with you before anything is formed.
Front walks, side yards, porch landings and patios. Anywhere plain concrete would work, stamped concrete works and looks like something.

Sidewalks & Walkways
Most walkway calls are not new construction — they are a slab that cracked, lifted at a root or settled into a trip hazard. That one gets broken out and hauled off, the base gets regraded, and a new walkway goes in. You can have it broom finished to match the rest of the property or stamped if you want the front of the house to look different when we leave.
The old slab comes out and leaves with us. The base gets regraded before anything new is formed on top of it.
Lifted joints, root damage and sections that have sunk. Those are the ones worth replacing before somebody catches a toe on them.
Same job, two finishes. Broom to match what is already there, stamped when you want the walkway to be the upgrade.
Patios & Extensions
An extension is the cheapest square footage on a property. A patio that is two feet too small for the furniture, a driveway with nowhere for the second vehicle, a back door that opens onto grass — all of those are one pour away from being fixed. We tie the new concrete into the existing slab with a joint that is meant to be there, and match the finish so it does not read as a patch.
Sized on site for what you actually put on it — the table, the grill and the walking room around both.
Added onto what is already poured, with the joint planned instead of improvised, so the two slabs can move without fighting.
Broom finish to blend in, or stamped if you would rather the new section be the one people notice.
